Ed's Pecan Pie

Ed's Pecan Pie
(Thank you Ed and Alisha Hewett!!)

1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
dash salt
1/3 cup dark corn syrup
2 T. melted butter
1 T. molasses or more
3 cups pecans (whole--toasted/roasted for 10 minutes) They are especially good if you roast them in the oven for 10 minutes first.
Ready-made Pillsbury pie crust, unbaked.

Mix all together and pour into the pie crust. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.

(Clover's Note: I actually sprinkle additional sugar over the top before baking.)
