Creative Cupcake Tiara

I have been called to be one of the leaders in the Young Women organization, and we have been preparing for our "New Beginnings" night. New Beginnings is an annual event for young women and their parents. We have chosen the theme "Happily Ever After" in honor of President Uchtdorf's talk. (It is such a good talk! Check it out!)

To inspire us in our planning meeting, I brought Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes for us to decorate! I found a "how to" video on youtube and figured we could all make chocolate tiaras to adorn our cupcakes. Here is the video. We had fun making them! But beware! It is harder than it seems in the video! (evidence displayed in picture below) My tiara looked more like something you'd see under the sea in Little Mermaid, but it tasted great. :) We didn't make the jewels shown in the video but used edible pearls and glitter instead.

Have fun!

In fact, [God's] love for you is so great that He has granted you this earthly life as a precious gift of “once upon a time,” complete with your own true story of adventure, trial, and opportunities for greatness, nobility, courage, and love. And, most glorious of all, He offers you a gift beyond price and comprehension. Heavenly Father offers to you the greatest gift of all—eternal life—and the opportunity and infinite blessing of your own “happily ever after.”

Sisters, we love you. We pray for you. Be strong and of good courage. You are truly royal spirit daughters of Almighty God. You are princesses, destined to become queens. Your own wondrous story has already begun. Your “once upon a time” is now.
