This was done at a Young Women activity and turned out to be really fun! Enjoy making it with your family!
Vanilla Ice Cream in a Bag

2 T. sugar
1/2 cup milk or half and half
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Large Ziploc bag
Small Ziploc bag
12 T. rock salt
Ice cubes
Fill the large bag half full of ice cubes, add rock salt, and seal. Combine sugar, milk, and vanilla in small bag, and seal. Place the small bag inside of the large bag and seal carefully. Shake until mixture becomes ice cream (about 10 minutes). Wipe off the small bag, carefully open it, throw in some fruit, or chocolate, etc., and enjoy!
Note: 10 minutes is a long time to squish and shake something cold, so it is more fun to do it in a group where you can take turns.
