Taco Soup

2 cans diced tomatoes (seasoned or regular)
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can corn
1 can green beans (french cut)
2 cans kidney beans
1-2 lbs ground beef or turkey
1 packet taco seasoning (or 1.5 packets)
Brown the meat, adding half of the seasoning packet. Bring all other ingredients to a slow simmer in separate pot. Add the other half of the seasoning packet while simmering. Add meat. Garnish with cheese, chips, green onions, and avocado.
Clover's Taco Soup
2 lbs. ground beef (or ground turkey)
2 Taco seasoning packets (I like McCormick Mild Taco Seasoning Mix)
1 can corn
1 can green beans
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can kidney beans
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 can diced tomatoes
1 bunch green onion, chopped
Top with:
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sour cream
Additional green onion, if preferred
Chopped avocado, if preferred
Serve with:
Tortilla chips
Throw all ingredients (except hamburger) in large pot with one taco seasoning packet and simmer. In a separate pan, cook the hamburger with one taco seasoning packet. Drain the hamburger and throw it into the big pot. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, additional green onion if preferred, and tortilla chips. Mmmm! Enjoy!

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, undrained
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Serve with:
corn chips
grated cheddar cheese
sour cream
In large soup pot, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in tomatoes, beans, corn, and taco seasoning. Simmer for 1/2 hour, uncovered. Serve topped with corn chips, grated cheese, and sour cream.
