Festive Cranberry Salad

Festive Cranberry Salad

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (6 oz.) pkg raspberry gelatin
1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 large Fugi or Gala apple, cored and chopped—leave the skin on


Put jello in a 4 qt. bowl. Boil 2 cups water and pour over jello. Stir jello at least 2 minutes until jello is completely dissolved. Add cranberry sauce and stir until well blended. Drain pineapple into 2 cup measuring cup. Add enough water to make 1 ½ cups. Add pineapple/water juice to jello and stir. Add pineapple and chopped apple to jello mixture and stir gently until well blended. Refrigerate. (Best if made 2-3 days before you serve.)
